Advanced Pediatric Nursing Course

The Medical Development Center at Al Salam Al Assima Hospital in alliance with the Manipal University of India organized an Advanced Pediatric Nursing course for the hospital’s nurses working in the pediatric and inpatient units during the 26th to 31st of August 2023. The objective of the course was to promote family-centered care and to enhance the skills of pediatric nurses in delivering high quality services. The course was conducted by Dr. Anjalin D’souza and Dr. Binu Margaret, Associate Professors from Manipal University with more than 20 years of experience in the field of clinical teaching. Various workshops and OSCE were conducted in real-time scenarios allowing the nurses to be highly competent in rendering patient care and maintaining a degree of excellence. The attendees received a course completion certificate from Manipal University. It was a remarkable experience for our staff in the continuous professional development to shape their medical career in the field of nursing.
